Commissions Analyst /GL Accountant
Palo Alto, CA
Kiteworks is looking for a Commissions Analyst / GL Accountant to work on commission related work and provide daily support to the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- 70% of time working on commission related work and 30% daily support to AR and Collections teams –for daily operations, month end close and audit
- Work with senior executives in Sales, Customer Success and Finance on compensation plans
- Recommend, setup and maintain compensation plans for new hires, transfers and other changes
- Maintain and setup commission system and update sales mapping on monthly basis
- Recommend compensation adjustments for advances on active and terminated individuals according to findings
- Reconciliation of commission accrual vs balance sheet details
- Reconcile monthly commissions accrued and paid
- Research/compare billing system to sales compensation software and contracts for confirmation of commission earned
- Perform thorough review of fully executed acknowledgment letters, contracts and draft contracts to ensure commissions are set up following implementation
- Prepare adjustments before commissions are finalized and transmit to the Payroll department
- Analyze and assess accuracy of commission reports
- Perform various analysis on sales performances
- Provide solutions for ad-hoc requests
- Collaborate with various team on resolving commissions related issues
Requirements
- 3-5 years work experience with commissions
- Attention to details
- Eagar to learn attitude and rollup the sleeve working style
- Good at math and computation
- Good communication skills and strong team player
- Good at tracking projects and follow through to achieve end results
