Dr. Rick Goud is a member of the management team at Kiteworks and is the co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Zivver, a secure digital communications platform launched in 2015 and acquired by Kiteworks in March 2025. Holding a Ph.D. in Decision Support Systems and dual master’s degrees in Medical Informatics and Healthcare Management, Rick spent six-plus years as a software engineer and another six as a healthcare strategy consultant, where he saw the risks of mishandling sensitive data. This led him to found Zivver, which 10 years later helps over 10,000 organisations communicate securely while staying compliant with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and NIS2.
