Jonathan Yaron
Chairman & CEO
Jonathan Yaron was appointed Chairman of Kiteworks board of directors in September 2015 and named CEO in January 2017. He has over 25 years of enterprise software industry experience as well as extensive strategic and operational expertise. Prior to Kiteworks, Jonathan was Founder, CEO and Chairman of Enigma, a service lifecycle management company, a position he held for 21 years, before selling the business to PTC. Jonathan is a graduate of Tel Aviv University with a degree in Economics and Management and a specialization in operation research.
Kurt Michael
Chief Revenue Officer
Kurt joined Kiteworks in mid 2019. He brings over 20 years of domestic, international and governmental sales experience leveraging channel and direct sales to the enterprise. Kurt previously served as VP of Sales, Americas West-Caribbean Latin America for Imperva where he helped transform and accelerate revenue growth of over 40%. Prior to that he held leadership and sales roles at Red Hat, EMC and NetApp. Kurt graduated from Syracuse University, Maxwell School with a BA in Economics and a minor in Finance.
Tim Freestone
Chief Strategy Officer
Tim joined Kiteworks in 2021 and brings over 15 years of experience in corporate strategy and marketing leadership, including demand generation, brand and market strategy, and process and organizational optimization. Tim was previously Vice President of Marketing at Contrast Security, a scale-up application security company where he built out the marketing organization globally, modernized and mechanized the team's execution, and elevated the company into a world-class brand. Before Contrast, Tim was the Vice President of Corporate Marketing at Fortinet, a multi-billion-dollar, next-generation firewall and cloud security company. In that role, he rebranded Fortinet and built out the comprehensive go-to-market operations for eight solutions encompassing more than 30 products. Prior to Fortinet, he was Director of Americas Demand, Strategy and Operations at NetApp where he built out the programmatic demand execution for the Americas and optimized operations to ensure effective lead flow and opportunity creation through sales. Before NetApp, Tim co-founded a marketing services agency where he created and led the execution of hundreds of marketing programs for large and small technology companies. Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication Studies from The University of Montana.
Yaron Galant
Chief Product Officer
Yaron Galant joined Kiteworks in 2017 and brings 25 years of experience in product strategy, management, and development. A pioneer in security and analytics, Yaron has played a leading role in the creation of the Web Application Security space and took several products/organizations from early stage to commercially deployed, scalable solutions. Before joining Kiteworks, Yaron was CEO and Founder of Vieu Labs where he led the creation of new modalities for interacting and collaborating through video. Previously, he was the Chief Product Officer at Quantifind where he helped transform raw technology into a predictive analytics solution for marketing executives. Yaron has filed 16 patents.
Frank Balonis
Senior Vice President, Operations & CISO
Frank Balonis joined Kiteworks in July 2003 and is responsible for technical support, customer success, and corporate IT. In addition, Frank oversees corporate security and compliance and works with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure Kiteworks software and services meet the needs of its customers. He has over 20 years of experience in IT Support and Services. Prior to Kiteworks, Frank held senior engineering positions with Prexar, Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation and Varian Semiconductor. Frank is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Michael Lee
Senior Vice President, Finance
Michael Lee joined Kiteworks in 2014. He has over 23 years of experience in finance and accounting operational leadership with software and technology companies. Prior to Kiteworks, Michael served as Director of Finance and Corporate Controller of Guidewire Software, a global software company in the property and casualty insurance industry. He has held similar management positions at venture backed start-ups, as well as private and publicly traded technology companies. Michael is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from California State University Fresno.
Kumud Kokal
Chief Information Officer
Kumud joins Kiteworks as our first Chief Information Officer, overseeing IT and Cloud Operations. In this role, he is responsible for initiatives that enable our teams to move faster, work smarter, and scale our business operations with confidence—powered by innovative technology solutions.With leadership experience at Airbnb, Stitch Fix, and Farmers Business Network, Kumud brings a proven track record of building scalable, high-impact systems that support growth while enhancing the employee and customer experience.
Amit Toren
Chief Business Officer
Amit Toren joined Kiteworks in 2020 and brings over 15 years of technology industry and management consulting experience, specializing in strategic growth, transformation management, business development, and operations management. At Kiteworks, he is responsible for identifying and managing growth opportunities through mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships, as well as overseeing business analytics. Prior to joining Kiteworks, Amit consulted private equity, Fortune 500, and hyper-growth private companies on transformational deals, and led business development initiatives for PwC. Amit earned an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.Sc. (cum laude) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben Gurion University.
Skylar Roubison
Senior Vice President, People & Places
Skylar Roubison joined Kiteworks in June 2022 and leads the company’s global People and Places team. She is responsible for the end-to-end execution of our talent strategy, employee experience, total rewards, real estate management, and leadership development. Skylar is passionate about building a culture and community where all Kiteworks employees are engaged, supported, and have a strong sense of belonging, allowing them to do their best work for our customers and each other every day.
Camilo Artiga-Purcell
General Counsel
Camilo Artiga-Purcell joined Kiteworks in July 2021, and brings over a decade of experience litigating cases from their inception through trial and appeal. In addition to conducting all facets of litigation, mediation, and arbitration, Camilo has advised businesses on litigation risks and best practices, and drafted and negotiated contracts. As Kiteworks General Counsel, Camilo leads the company’s global legal operations. Camilo earned a B.A. from Macalester College and a J.D. with a concentration in Business Law from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Ken Delaney
Vice President, Sales - East
Ken joined Kiteworks in 2020 and manages the North America Eastern Region’s high-velocity sales team. Ken brings over 25 years experience in Sales, Sales Leadership, Channel Management, and Sales Operations. Prior to Kiteworks, he was the Eastern Region Sales Vice President for OutSystems, the leading low-code platform provider for rapid application development. Before OutSystems, Ken held Executive Sales and Channel Leadership roles at RebelMouse Software, Acrolinx, Oracle, EMC Corporation and FatWire Software.
Rob Falbo
Vice President, Sales - West
Rob Joined Kiteworks in 2024 to Lead the North American Sales team in the West. Rob brings over 25 years’ experience in Cyber Security Sales and Sales Leadership. Prior to Kiteworks, he spent over 16 years at Imperva as the AVP of Sales of the Central Region, VP of Strategic Accounts, and most recently as the VP Healthcare Sales. Before Imperva, Rob was the VP of Sales for the Central Region at Tumbleweed Communications (now Axway). Rob received a Bachler’s Degree in Finance at Drake University.
Craig Pfister
Vice President, Sales Engineering
Craig Pfister joined Kiteworks in 2018 and manages the global pre-sales engineering team. His responsibilities include communicating Kiteworks technical capabilities to current and prospective customers, overseeing all proofs of value, and collaborating with Kiteworks engineering team on platform functionality. Prior to Kiteworks, Craig was VP of Portfolio Analysis with FactSet Research Systems, an integrated financial data and software company. Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Alabama.
Dave Byrnes
Vice President, Global Channels
Dave joined Kiteworks April 2023 and brings over 25 years of experience working through, to, and with partners in the channel. At Kiteworks, he is responsible for Global Channels across the partner ecosystem and for ensuring success among partners through a 100% channel-first model. Prior to joining Kiteworks, Dave led global channels for Radiant Logic and Illumio and held channel leadership roles at Imperva and Palo Alto Networks where he oversaw transformative partnership programs that grew revenue and expanded margins.
Patrick Spencer
Senior Vice President, Americas Marketing & Industry Research
Patrick is charged with building thought leadership and communications programs that increase brand awareness and engagement and propel lead-generation programs, engaging with and mobilizing Kiteworks’ thousands of customers and partners via a multi-touch advocacy strategy, and operationalizing SEO strategies and marketing processes. He has nearly two decades of experience in various senior marketing roles within cybersecurity at Contrast Security, Fortinet, and Symantec. At Contrast Security, he worked with Contrast Labs to institute data science strategies to mine product data used to produce thought leadership reports that were pivotal competitive differentiators and demand-generation vehicles. Patrick is the recipient of numerous corporate, industry, and media awards, having served as the editor in chief and publisher for various digital publications and initiatives such as CIO Digest at Symantec, The CISO Collective at Fortinet, and the Inside AppSec Podcast at Contrast Security. He holds a doctorate from the University of Durham and two masters and a bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University.
Ryan Gallagher
Vice President, Sales Operations
Ryan Gallagher joined Kiteworks in 2011 and brings nearly 25 years of experience in technology sales, sales management, and business development from a variety of vertical industries and company sizes. At Kiteworks, he is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the worldwide sales organization. Prior to joining Kiteworks, Ryan held sales management positions at Oracle where he lead high performing teams in the Company's CRM SaaS business and applications products. Previously, he held sales positions at Siebel Systems and Mentor Graphics. Ryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.
Kieran O’Shaughnessy
Managing Directer, APAC
Kieran O’Shaughnessy has more than 20 years of successful sales and sales management experience within the information technology space and an extensive background in channel management across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Kiteworks, Kieran held the position of Asia Pacific channel sales director for multinational software vendor, the Neverfail Group, where he was responsible for establishing and building a high performance channel network across the region. He also has held sales and general management positions with global software vendors Sage and the SCO Group, Inc. with responsibilities for channel and direct sales strategy development and execution.
Budi Aprianto
Vice President, Systems Engineering
Budi joined Kiteworks in September 2000. Over a 20-year career, he has led software development and built high-performing software engineering teams. Currently, he is responsible for Systems Engineering at Kiteworks. He holds a BTech in Computer Science from ITB, Indonesia, and a MComp from NUS, Singapore.
Dario Perfettibile
Vice President & GM, European Operations
In 2001, Dario co-founded totemo, a provider of secure electronic communication, and served as CEO for 15 years when the company was acquired by Kiteworks. He has over 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, with a focus on general management, finance, sales, and corporate development. Prior to founding totemo, Dario was a Managing Partner at my.eVision Ltd. and worked as a technology consultant for major Swiss banks. Dario is a member of the Cybersecurity Committee of digitalswitzerland, a Swiss-wide, cross-industry initiative that aims to strengthen and anchor Switzerland as a leading global location for digital innovation.
Marcel Mock
Vice President, Technology and Solutions
In 2001, Marcel co-founded totemo, a provider of secure electronic communication, and served as CTO before the company was acquired by Kiteworks. He has over 20 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, with a focus on product development and strategy, as well as technology alliances. Prior to launching totemo, he was Head of Software Development at WebSemantix Inc. Marcel holds a B.S. in Business Information Technology and is the inventor of several international patents around secure email. Marcel is a member of the “Information Security” committee of Swico, the Swiss Association of ICT Providers.
Gideon Pely
Corporate Development Advisor
Gideon joined Kiteworks in 2017 and brings over 25 years of experience in technology, corporate development, sales, and business strategy. At Kiteworks, he advises senior management on corporate development and other strategic matters. Prior to Kiteworks, Gideon was Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at CyberArk, where he played a pivotal role in the Company’s path towards an IPO. Before CyberArk, he was Vice President of Sales at Digital-Compaq Systrade. Previously, he was a Group Manager with the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. Gideon earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Open University of Israel, where he focused on Economics and Psychology.
Marissa Kandarian
Senior Director, Renewals & Order Management
Marissa Kandarian joined Kiteworks in March of 2013. As Senior Director of Renewals and Order Management, Marissa is responsible for growing and maintaining Kiteworks large renewal business. In addition, Marissa oversees Kiteworks order processing and fulfillment activities. Prior to Kiteworks, Marissa ran order processing and renewals, as well as maintenance renewal quoting, at Pano Logic, a virtual desktop infrastructure provider. Marissa holds a BA in Liberal Studies from Long Beach State University.
Udi Bartal
Vice President, IT and Security
With over a decade of IT leadership experience, Udi serves as the VP of IT and Security at Kiteworks. He brings extensive expertise in corporate IT, security, and applications from his previous role in the health medical devices sector. At Kiteworks, Udi leads multifaceted teams, drives innovation, and fortifies cybersecurity measures, aligning technology initiatives with business goals. His strategic vision positions Kiteworks for success in the evolving technological landscape.
Philipp Wittek
Head of EMEA Sales
Philipp Wittek leads Sales across the entire EMEA region at Kiteworks, where he is responsible for driving growth, building high-performing teams, and expanding the customer base. He brings over a decade of experience in cybersecurity sales, including five years in sales leadership. Before joining Kiteworks through its acquisition of DRACOON in 2023, Philipp spent seven years at Boxcryptor, a pioneer in cloud storage encryption acquired by Dropbox in 2022. He has dedicated his entire professional career to cybersecurity. Philipp holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics from the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, Germany.
Björn Momsen
Managing Director, Finance, DRACOON
Björn Momsen is a seasoned finance executive and managing director with over a decade of leadership experience in VC- and PE-backed SaaS companies. At DRACOON, he led the company’s growth and exit to Kiteworks, later managing the financial integration of multiple European acquisitions. Björn has a strong track record in scaling finance organizations, executing M&A transactions, and building data-driven teams. Prior roles include CFO positions at Trusted Shops and Webtrekk, and investment management at High-Tech Gründerfonds in Germany. He holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Magdeburg and has authored publications on SaaS controlling and venture capital.
Victoria Foster
Vice President, Product
Victoria Foster joined Kiteworks in 2021, bringing 14 years of experience in product management, strategy, and leadership. At Kiteworks, Victoria has played a leading role in shaping and realizing the company’s product vision, notably bringing the Private Data Network to market. Prior to Kiteworks, she led the design and development of OneView at DaVita, a transformative product for nephrologists that reimagined electronic health records. Earlier in her career, she spearheaded the redesign of FactSet’s Portfolio Analytics platform, focusing on turning data into actionable insights through intelligent data visualizations and interactive reports. Victoria holds a BS in Mathematics from Lehigh University.
Rika Tandean
Senior Director, Customer Success
Rika joins Kiteworks as Senior Director of Customer Success, where she leads with a passion for building lasting customer relationships and driving business impact. With two decades of experience spanning Customer Success and Account Management, she has championed customer-focused strategies at technology companies and leading global financial institutions. In her role, Rika is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, strengthening retention, and fueling sustainable growth in the Americas. Prior to Kiteworks, Rika held leadership positions at Exabeam, 8x8, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Chase Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Nadine Hoogerwerf
Global IT CISO
Nadine joined Zivver in 2019 which was acquired by Kiteworks in 2025. She brings elaborate experience in information security, privacy and compliance in the technology sector. In her role she is responsible for ensuring the information security of all internal IT, cloud hosting and third party tooling. In addition Nadine is heading the compliance program to make sure Kiteworks meets and exceed the stringent requirements from our customers.She holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and is CISSP, CIPP/E and CIPT certified.
Julia Rasekhi
Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Strategy
Julia leads Kiteworks’ strategic partnership initiatives with the world’s largest technology vendors and global systems integrators, driving executive-level alliances, joint product integration, and strategic go-to-market programs that accelerate revenue growth. Prior to joining Kiteworks in 2026, she spent over 17 years at Oracle as Vice President of Corporate Development, Product Partnerships, and Licensing. At Oracle, she built and led an organization responsible for delivering the company’s most impactful product partnerships and executing complex multi-dimensional initiatives, including post-merger integrations, net-new business divisions, and global licensing structures. She has also held strategic alliance and global partnership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Interwoven, and 3Com.
